How to turn off notifications on Windows 10

1. Turn off notifications on Windows 10 in Action Center

Action Center is the place to integrate convenient shortcut buttons on Windows to turn on, turn off Wifi, mobile network, VPN, Screen Snip . To turn off app notifications, let's use Action Center to Quickly turn off notifications and don't be disturbed.

Click on Action Center (1) => Double-click on Focus assist (2) to switch to Alarm only .

After switching to Alarm only mode , all notifications from the application will no longer display. However, if you use the Alarm feature, the notifications and alarms from the Alarm application will still work.

2. Turn off notifications completely in Windows 10 in Settings

With settings on Windows Setting, we will turn off notifications more actively and may not receive any notifications from applications on Windows 10 anymore.

Step 1: Go to the Start menu (1) => Settings (2) .

Step 2: Select the System item .

Step 3 : Select the Notifications & actions (1) => switch the Get notifications from apps and other senders switch to Off (2) .

After switching the switch to Off , you will no longer receive any notifications from the system or the application.

However, you still want some applications to show notifications of messaging and calling apps such as Skype, Zalo, you can still turn off unnecessary notifications from other applications by scrolling down and looking for the item Get notifications from these senders to manually turn off unwanted apps.
