How to turn off quick app notifications on Mac
Immediately after receiving an app notification, use the Notification Center on the Mac to turn off notifications for each app.
Quickly turn off app notifications from the Notification Center
You can turn off notifications from the app's notifications itself. This can be done when you see an app notification in the top right corner of the screen.
When you see a message, right-click it and choose Turn Off .
Your Mac will stop sending notifications from this app immediately.
Alternatively, you can use the Notification Center to turn off notifications. Click on the time display from the menu bar for the Notification Center to appear. You can also access it by swiping two fingers from the right edge of the trackpad.
From here, you'll see notifications from installed apps. Notifications will be grouped according to application.
Right-click an app and choose Turn Off to turn off notifications from that app.
Enable app notifications from System Preferences
If you need to receive notifications from an application, you can enable this feature from System Preferences . Click on the Apple logo from the menu bar and choose System Preferences .
From here, go to the Notifications section .
From the sidebar, select the app for which you need to receive notifications.
Next, turn on the Allow Notifications option to enable notifications for apps.
