10 ways to split files, cut large files into several small files

The free version of PDFsam is fully equipped with the ability to split PDF files as well as join PDF. You just need to select the file you want to split by browsing the file or dragging, changing the settings to split the PDF file as you like, then wait for the software to finish processing.
10. Split the file with 7Zip
This famous file compression software also has a file splitting feature, it is important to know where it is located or not.
First click on the Add button to create a new compressed file as usual:
On the Add to Archive window use Split to volumes, bytes to select the file size you want to split, you can choose the size available in the drop-down menu or fill in another number yourself. Click OK and your file will be compressed and split into small parts. When you need to merge them together, just make sure you start with the first file in the string.
