Survive Till Dawn combines PUBG Mobile's battle-royale rules with daylight preparation, night zombie waves and optional boss encounters. You still need to survive enemy players and the shrinking zone, but ammunition, open escape routes and squad coordination become more important after dark.
This is a legacy-event guide. Mode availability, player count, menus and rewards may differ by region and game version. Use the Survive Till Dawn beginner tips, review the zombie types and attack patterns, and check the RPD Police Station locations if the themed landmark appears.
Update the game and check whether the event is active
The screenshot shows an older Tencent Gaming Buddy interface, now known as GameLoop. Update PUBG Mobile through the supported store or emulator before looking for the mode.

In the lobby, open the mode or map selector and look for Event or Survive Till Dawn. If it is not listed, the event may not be active in that version or region; reinstalling the game will not make a retired event appear.

Land with the squad and avoid an unnecessary early fight
The match begins with a normal parachute drop, but the playable area can be more concentrated than a standard Erangel match. Mark one compound and land close enough to share ammunition and revive teammates.

Avoid the busiest landmark unless the squad intends to fight immediately. Losing health and ammunition to another team before the first night wave creates a resource problem that ordinary looting may not solve.

Use daylight to prepare
Zombie pressure is lighter during daylight, giving the squad time to collect weapons, healing items and ammunition. Decide who carries any special weapon and distribute its fuel or ammunition instead of splitting it across several backpacks.

- Reload both weapons before nightfall.
- Keep one flexible firearm for enemy players.
- Choose open ground or a building with more than one exit.
- Find a vehicle and park it facing the intended rotation.
- Move toward the next zone before the wave becomes dense.
Track the zone and boss markers
The play zone continues to shrink during the zombie event. Boss or themed-event markers may also appear on the map. Treat them as optional encounters, not a reason to ignore the zone or cross an exposed area without supplies.

Regroup before darkness
Zombie numbers and aggression increase after dark. A separated player can be surrounded before teammates arrive, so regroup while visibility is still good and identify the squad's retreat path.

The interface may show a night or boss warning. Use the notification as the final preparation signal: reload, heal and stop sorting unnecessary loot.

Fight the night wave without being surrounded
Move in open loops, remove ranged and fast zombies first, and avoid aiming down sights when a crowd is already close. One teammate can create distance while the others clear the front of the group.
The interface distinguishes remaining players and team status from zombie eliminations. Do not let a large zombie count distract from nearby enemy squads or a downed teammate.

Fight a boss only when the squad is ready
Bosses can drop strong mode-specific equipment, including heavy weapons in the event version shown here. The reward is not guaranteed to justify the ammunition, time and third-party risk.

- Clear ordinary zombies before focusing the boss.
- Use open ground and attack from different angles.
- Remain close enough to revive a teammate.
- Leave when the zone moves or another squad approaches.
How to win the match
The final goal remains survival. Rotate with the zone, conserve enough resources for enemy players and do not assume that defeating the largest boss ends the match. A squad that controls position and transportation can outperform one that spends everything on optional encounters.
Before each night, repeat the same cycle: loot, regroup, select defensible terrain, survive the wave, then rotate. That simple rhythm is more reliable than chasing every zombie drop on the map.
