Siri is having copyright problems in China
Earlier, in 2012, Zhi Zhen Internet Technology filed a lawsuit against Apple for alleging that Siri had infringed the copyright of their Chinese "voice-controlled" Chinese speech and control system.
The Shanghai-based company argues that Siri's function is quite similar to Xiao i Robot, but its market time is five years later than Xiao i Robot . Specifically, Xiao i Robot was released in August 2004 and licensed two years later. Siri was first announced on the iPhone 4S model in October 2011.
Zhi Zhen Internet Technology said the company has worked with many big companies like Yahoo and Microsoft to develop voice-related features.
When the lawsuit was initiated, Apple wanted to mediate but Zhi Zhen Internet Technology did not accept it. Currently, " apple houses " have not yet made any comments regarding the information that CNET has just published.
