Microsoft has officially launched Skype version 6.1 for older Windows operating systems with the integration of the ability to interact with the Outlook application.

According to Cnet on 11.1, this means that PC users who are using Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 versions will be able to see the online status of Skype accounts right in Outlook contact card.

Users can now make Skype calls directly on Outlook

As a result, they can make conversation or make calls with images directly on this card without having to exit Outlook.

Currently, this feature is only available on 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows with Windows 7, Visa, and Windows XP versions. Windows 8 alone does not support this feature because Skype for Windows 8 is a separate application.

In addition, the old version of Skype 6.1 for Windows also fixes some of the security flaws that appeared in the previous Skype version.
