Google is about to launch the Dark Mode interface but not update for Android users

Google said it is true that the dark interface mode will appear on the next Android version but is for developers, not users.

In November last year, a Google employee confirmed information about the Dark mode will be updated in the new Android version, helping devices use OLED screens to save battery power better. However, Google has officially denied this information and said it was only a misunderstanding.

Google later clarified this misunderstanding and said it is true that the dark interface mode will appear on the next Android version but is for developers, to help them develop and test applications on the UI. -night (night view), not for users.

Google also added that the only adjustment at this time for this mode is only for the Google Pixel 2 in Android 8.1 version, allowing users to change from light to dark subject depending on the background image of the phone.

Hopefully Google will develop and apply this feature more, helping users save more battery in the future.

Although Google does not provide Dark Mode to users, you can still use it by installing some applications and Launcher, typically Nova Launcher (Go to Nova Settings => Turn on Night Mode):
