Trick to turn off notifications from Facebook on Chrome browser

Step 1:

Step 2:

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Show advanced setting s (show advanced settings ).

Step 3:

In the Privacy section, click on Content settings .

Scroll down to Notifications (notice)

Select Do not allow any site to show desktop notifications (do not allow any website to display notifications).

Step 6:

If you want to allow certain websites to send you notifications, click on A while when a site wants to show desktop notifications (ask when the site wants to show notifications ). The websites you allow will be sent notifications.

Step 7:

Click Manage exceptions to see a list of websites you allow to send notifications. To the right of each URL of each page there is an option to allow or block the dialog box. You can block sites that do not want to receive notifications here.
