Displays the amount of memory used by each tab on Firefox browser

Each tab on the browser will take up a different amount of RAM. Sometimes you open several tabs on Firefox or Chrome your computer crashes or the page loads. The reason may be that the website you visit has a large capacity, consuming RAM.

Each tab on the browser will take up a different amount of RAM. Sometimes you open several tabs on Firefox or Chrome your computer crashes or the page loads. The reason may be that the website you visit has a large capacity, consuming RAM.

So how do you know how much memory each tab you open in your browser takes up memory? Please refer to the following article of Network Administrator.

Note: This method only applies to Firefox browsers

Displays the amount of memory used by each tab on Firefox browser

First open Firefox on your computer.

Visit the add-on Tab Memory Usage page to download and install the add-on Tab Memory Usage on your browser.

After installation is complete, the add-on will automatically display the amount of memory used on each tab you open to see which tab uses the most or at least RAM.

If you want to hide the display of memory usage on each tab, simply disable the Memory Usage add-on tab on the add-on manager for Firefox.
