Minimum and recommended computer configuration to run Windows 11
After a long time in the form of rumors, Windows 11 has officially been revealed with many notable changes such as the position of the task bar, which can run Androids application emulators. Along with that, computer users with windows 7,8 and 10 can be upgraded completely free of charge.
Currently, Microsoft has not released official information about the recommended configuration for Windows 11. However, based on recent leaked installations, information about the minimum configuration to install Windows 11 has been revealed.
Minimum configuration to install Windows 11
Windows 11 can be installed on computers from 2015 onwards because they meet UEFI and TMP 2.0 standards.
In case the computer does not meet the above two standards, when installing Windows 11 will appear the error "This PC can't run Windows 11". The minimum configuration to install Windows 11 specifically is as follows:
- CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz or higher for the 32-bit version and 1.4 GHz or higher for the 64-bit version;
- RAM 2GB or more;
- Screen resolution 800 x 600 pixels;
- Free hard drive space 20GB or more;
- Any GPU whether integrated or discrete with WDDM 1.0 driver;
- DirectX Version 9;
- Internet connection
Windows 11 Recommended Configuration
For Windows 11 to work optimally, your computer configuration needs to meet the following parameters:
- CPU speed 2 GHz or higher
- RAM 8GB or more
- Screen resolution 720p
- Free hard drive space 100GB or more
- DirectX Version 9
- Internet connection
At least you need to meet the minimum configuration requirements to be able to install Windows 11. It is expected that by the end of this year, windows will allow users to update themselves through the Windows update mechanism.
