1. Check your computer configuration
If you want to run Windows 10, your computer should have at least:

2. Prepare
If your computer meets the requirements for installing Windows 10, next prepare:
- Windows Media Creation Tool to download Windows 10 ISO file
- If you want to install Windows 10 on an existing partition without creating a new one, store all important data in that partition to another location, then skip to part 3 below.
3. Create a partition to install Windows 10
If you want to create a new partition to install Windows 10, follow these steps:
- Right-click on the Computer icon, select Manage .
- Click Disk Management .
- In this step we share the capacity from an existing partition to the new partition.
Right-click the partition you want to share the capacity (in the example, I get the capacity from drive C) and select Shrink Volume .
- Enter the size (MB units) you want to share from this partition to the new partition, then press Shrink .
- Right-click on the newly created empty partition, select New Simple Volume .
- Click Next .
- Continue to choose Next .
- Select a character for the new partition and click Next .
- Select Next .

4. Download the Windows 10 installation ISO file
There are many ways to download the ISO file to install Windows 10, but I recommend that you download it through the Media Creation Tool of Windows so that the installer is both error-free and safe.
- Open the Media Creation Tool . Wait a moment for the program to load.
- Select Accept .
- Select Create installation media (.) for another PC and then click Next .
- The program automatically recommends a number of options appropriate for your computer. If you want to change, uncheck the Use the recommended options for this PC box and then customize it yourself. Then click Next .
- Select the ISO file and click Next .
- Select a folder to save the ISO file to install Windows 10 after downloading. Note: Do not save on the partition where you plan to install Windows 10.

5. Install Windows 10
- Extract the downloaded Windows 10 ISO file with WinRAR.
- Go to the extracted Windows directory, go to the sources directory , run the setup.exe file .
- Choose to install updates for Windows or not.
- Enter the Product Key or click I don't have a product key if not already.
- Select the version of Windows 10 you want to install and then click Next .
- Check the box I accept the license terms and then click Next .
- Choose the form of Custom installation .
- Select the partition to install Windows 10 (the free space created in part 3) and then click Next .
- Wait for the installation process to finish.
- Choose your country and click Yes .
- Select the input language for the keyboard and then press Yes .
- Click Skip .
- Use your Microsoft account to login, or create an offline account. Here I choose to create an offline account - click on Offline account .
- Enter the user name on the computer and click Next .
- Enter the password you want to set and then click Next .
- Choose to use Cortana as a personal assistant or not. I choose not - press Decline .
- Choose to synchronize other devices through activity history or not. I chose No .
- Come here, Windows 10 is ready!
