How to print test pages, test printers in Windows 10

If you suspect that you have a problem with the quality of text or images on your printer, Windows 10 can let you print a test page that checks and evaluates where the problem originates.

 How to do it is not complicated, you just need to follow these steps

Windows 10's built-in test page printing works with all printer models. So you can safely use this feature with your existing HP, Epson, Canon and other brands of devices.

First, make sure that the printer's paper tray is fully loaded and that your printer is also connected to the Windows system.

To get started, open the Control Panel by clicking the ' Start ' button , searching for the ' Control Panel ' keyword and clicking the corresponding icon in the returned search results.

In the 'Control Panel' view, in the top right corner of the window, click ' View By ', then select ' Category ' from the menu that appears. You will immediately see the Control Panel options listed in category mode. Next, on the same 'Control Panel' window, find the ' Hardware and Sound ' section and click on the ' View Devices and Printers ' item .

In the ' Devices and Printers ' window that opens, scroll down to the ' Printers ' section. Here, you right click on the printer you want to check and select ' Printer Properties '.

Windows 10 will open the printer's properties window. At the top of this window, click the " General " tab . Then, click ' Print Test Page ' at the bottom of the window to start printing the test page.
