Storytelling

An area that includes a wide variety of children from many different backgrounds and cultural areas, creating a culturally rich camping environment with many different ethnicities.

In this activity, campers are divided into small groups and one player on the team is asked to start a story with a line inspired by the scene around them. The next player picks up where they left off and adds another line to continue the story. Ideas and thoughts are distributed evenly and the groups share a common space. This activity is great for bringing together a variety of people and creating some ridiculous but entertaining campfire stories.

Benefits: Promotes creativity, cross-cultural exchange and teamwork while encouraging communication and engagement as diverse ideas come together to form a common story.

Benefits: Improves memory, concentration and organization skills while encouraging friendly competition and group interaction.
