Facebook has deployed Dark Mode for Messenger to everyone. From now on, users can enable this feature simply like opening the Messenger menu.

Facebook has deployed Dark Mode for Messenger to everyone. From now on, users can enable this feature simply like opening the Messenger menu without having to send a message containing crescent moon emoticons to a friend like before.

Dark Mode is now a function available in the Settings section of the Messenger application displayed by a switch button and can be turned on and off arbitrarily, whether or not the user has enabled this feature before.

In the past, in order to activate Dark Mode, users had to send a message containing a crescent moon emoticon to a friend.

To activate Dark Mode on Messenge, users need to click on the profile picture to access the installation item and click on the dark mode switch button.

When activating dark mode on Messenge, the light background and other elements will be replaced with a black background, the brightness is removed, which helps users reduce eye strain when used.
