You can macOS High Sierra directly from Mac App Store https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/macos-high-sierra/id1246284741?mt=12 or via Software Update tool on the Mac App Store. Some people will see an error for the installation, so perhaps the update hasn't been released for all. MacOS High Sierra is compatible with all Macs capable of running Sierra. Here is the full list.

macOS High improved macOS Sierra operating system earlier with some major updates inside and many minor changes on the floating part.
Apple File System APFS is a file system for SSDs, which is used by default for this hard drive on the macOS High Sierra. APFS is a modern, secure, secure and optimized storage system. It has native encryption, text saving, snapshot photography, crash protection and some performance improvements.
APFS is available on all Macs with SSDs but not with traditional Fusion or HHD drives.

Safari now automatically blocks video playback and has Intelligent Tracking Prevention to protect user privacy. Safari Reader also has the option to turn it on. Searching in Mail is easier, optimized Mail memory accounts for less than 35% of memory space. iCloud Drive for file sharing and iCloud storage options are also added.
As with iOS, Siri has a more natural voice with changes in tone and expression, Siri is also smarter with the ability to sync on devices. There are also some FaceTime changes (Live Photos photography), Notes (tables and notes) and Spotlight (improved search capabilities) and many other minor changes and improvements.
