The self-sync feature between Photos and Drive will stop working from July 10

Starting from July 10, when you upload a photo or video file to Google Photos, it will not automatically be added to Photos folder on Drive and vice versa.

Synchronous features between two Drive and Photo applications of Google are making users confused. Many user feedback has been sent to Google in the hope that the company simplifies this experience.

Google recognized this and met the user's requirements. In a recent statement, the technology firm said it would no longer synchronize the two applications.

Starting from July 10, when you upload a photo or video file to Google Photos, it will not automatically be added to Photos folder on Drive and vice versa. Similarly, when users delete photos and videos in Photos, they don't disappear in Drive and vice versa.
