The Airship Map Among Us is officially released on March 31

The airship,  first revealed in December 2020 through  The Game Awards 2020 , will be available in a follow-up content update that comes with an information editing system and 'the ability to choose a starting room'.

InnerSloth said in the update: 'I've been explaining this a bit in our final development log, but Among Us's popularity is unanticipated and pretty late in 2020, too, ''

The developer also explained why the update wasn't coming sooner: 'Creating a map and updating isn't as simple as creating an aspect of the game and bringing it to PC. Because our games are cross-platform, that means everything needs to work on as many devices as possible, '

Up to the present time, Airship will be the fourth map to be released in  Among Us  since its first launch in 2018.

Currently,  Among Us  is available for players to experience on Switch, iOS, PC, Android and Xbox One.

After months of being revealed, Airship's new map will be officially released on March 31st. The original map was announced in a teaser trailer in early December.

According to InnerSloth, the Airship is the game's largest map and will include a number of new quests, ladders, starting areas, and free caps.

The team explained that the long wait was due to a number of factors stemming from the game's super-acceleration in 2020. The game was originally released for PC and mobile in 2018, But it was not until last year that it resonated with its interesting gameplay.

After months of silence, InnerSloth released a full look at the airship map slated for release at the end of 3/2021. Accompanying the new map trailer, the developers also announced the free update coming out on March 31, which is only a few weeks before the new content update system.
