On schedule, Microsoft will roll out a major update to Windows 11 this fall that improves many features. One of them is the addition of AI to Snap, a window splitter that makes splitting windows smarter and more convenient.

As announced by WindowsLatest Preview version, the Snap feature has added new window split options suggested by AI.

The 'Smart Snap' feature is said to be officially released later this year, along with a major update for Windows 11.

'Smart Snap' remembers Snap layouts that the user has split up before, and then suggests users to restart the computer or update to a new version. At that time, users only need a single mouse click to quickly restore the layout for some applications. This will make the process of dividing windows simpler and provide a better user experience.

Previously Microsoft introduced the 'Snap Assist' feature with Windows 11 Microsoft. As soon as the user splits the window of the first application, Snap Assist will suggest other applications, and the remaining application window will display in a minimized form for the user to choose. With 'Smart Snap', those choices will be remembered to suggest to the user.

In addition, Windows 11 has also introduced another interesting and pretty cool feature that automatically remembers the size of the recording window connected to an external monitor.
