PUBG Mobile Survive Till Dawn: Zombie and Boss Combat Tips

PUBG Mobile's Survive Till Dawn mode adds zombie waves and boss enemies to the usual pressure from rival players and the shrinking play zone. The safest approach is to keep moving, create open space and eliminate the most dangerous targets first. Mode availability and weapon balance can vary by game version, but the tactics below remain useful whenever Survive Till Dawn is available.

Prepare before the night wave

• Carry enough ammunition and healing items before darkness falls.
• Choose at least one weapon that is comfortable at short range.
• Avoid rooms with only one exit; open ground gives you more room to circle a crowd.
• Agree on a meeting point so the squad does not split when a wave begins.

Use headshots when the target is clear

Headshots can end ordinary zombie encounters faster and reduce ammunition use. Aim carefully while a group is still at a manageable distance, but do not remain stationary just to line up a perfect shot. Once enemies close in, survival and movement take priority over precision.

Assault rifles are flexible for controlled shots at medium range, while shotguns can be useful against nearby targets. The better choice is the weapon you can reload and handle reliably under pressure; damage values and magazine sizes may change between updates.

Group slow zombies, then clear a path

When several slow zombies follow you, move in a wide arc to bring them into a tighter group. Straighten your route only after you have enough distance, then fire into the front of the group while continuing to retreat. Do not let this maneuver pull you toward a wall, the blue zone or an enemy squad.

Ranged attackers and fast enemies should usually be removed first because they disrupt this pattern. In a squad, avoid having every teammate run in a different direction. One player can draw attention while the others clear the most dangerous targets.

Bait a boss attack without getting trapped

Many boss attacks have a visible wind-up or recovery period. Keep enough distance to recognize the attack, move sideways as it begins, and fire during the recovery window. Repeat patiently instead of standing still and trading damage.

Fight bosses in open areas whenever possible. Teammates should attack from different angles without spreading so far apart that a downed player cannot be revived. Clear nearby ordinary zombies before committing all of the squad's attention to the boss.

Use hip fire when the crowd is close

Aiming down sights narrows your view and can slow your reaction to enemies approaching from the sides. At close range, use third-person movement and hip fire to maintain awareness. Switch to aimed fire only when you have space and a clear target.

Squad priorities during a wave

1. Move away from enclosed spaces and avoid being surrounded.
2. Eliminate ranged and fast enemies.
3. Create a safe path for any teammate who is low on health.
4. Focus fire on bosses only after the immediate crowd is controlled.
5. Reload, heal and redistribute ammunition before the next wave.

The key is not to chase every drop. Protect a route out, communicate target priorities and preserve enough resources for the next encounter.
