Microsoft releases update KB4580364, which resolves crashes on Windows 10
Microsoft has officially released update KB4580364 to resolve an error that caused some devices running Windows 10 2004 and Windows 10 20H2 to freeze while in use.
With this update, Microsoft has fixed a bug that could cause a "bottleneck" in the Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) driver. This will cause the operating system to stop responding or completely stop working.
Microsoft also resolved an issue that caused the device to stop responding after you've used the brush for a few hours.
An issue that caused Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) applications to stop working and the RRAS Microsoft Management Console (MMC) administrator to stop responding randomly was also fixed by KB4580364.
Microsoft also introduced Skype's Meet Now button on the Windows 10 Taskbar. Microsoft promises that this button will help you connect to anyone for free with just two clicks.
"In the coming weeks, you can easily set up video calling and contact friends and family by clicking the Meet Now button without signing up or downloading," Microsoft said.
The Meet Now button was introduced to Windows 10 users 1903 and 1909 with the KB458086 update released October 20.
However, Microsoft notes that update KB4580364 may cause problems for users who use the Microsoft Input Method Editor (IME) for Japanese or Chinese. The user may get unexpected results or be unable to enter text.
Update KB4580364 can be downloaded and installed via Windows Update or downloaded from Microsoft Catalog.
