Step 1: Register Android Beta Program

First open any browser on your phone, then navigate to this site and log in to your Google account. You should now see a list of eligible devices in the bottom of the list. Just click the E nroll Device button to register for the Beta.

Step 2: Download and install the update

You will soon receive an update message on your phone. Click on the notification to see more update information.

If you see the notification screen as shown in the image on the left, it means that Google has released an update for your device, click Download to continue. If the message looks like the image on the right, this is just a build, so don't be fooled and click Download.

After downloading and installing Android Nougat, you will experience some new features on your device.

Step 3: Cancel registration of Beta Program

After updating Android Nougat, go back to the beta enrollment page and click the Unenroll Device button. Once you have updated the Android Nougat version, you will not need to use the Beta Program anymore, so you can cancel the Beta Program registration.
