LG is not the first company to develop and introduce stretchable screens. Last year, a little-known manufacturer, Royole, introduced a screen that could be stretched by 30% and could reach a pixel density of 120ppi. In 2017, Samsung also introduced a stretchable display, which can survive deformation and can stretch about half an inch.
