How to hide chat on Zalo PC

To keep private messages on Zalo, this application has provided the ability to hide the Zalo chat via a PIN that users set, or set a Zalo security key. Recently on the Zalo PC version has been updated to hide chat, set a PIN to hide private and personal chats. When the message is hidden will not display in the Zalo message interface. So if someone accidentally opens your Zalo, they won't see that chat. The following article will guide you how to hide messages on Zalo PC.

1. Hide chat on Zalo computer

At the message that the user wants to hide , we click on the 3-dot icon and select Hide chat .

When displaying the interface to introduce chat feature, click Set PIN to enter PIN. Then display the interface so that they enter a PIN with 4 arbitrary characters you set.

Once the PIN has been installed, the Zalo app will notify you of the hidden chat.

2. Open the hidden chat on Zalo

To find the conversation has hidden on Zalo we have 2 ways to find , that is to find by the PIN that we have set or by the name of the chat .

If you search by PIN, there is no need to re-enter the PIN to open the chat. If you search by chat name, you need to re-enter PIN to open chat.

3. Unhide chat on Zalo

If you want to unhide the message on Zalo, first you enter the PIN into the search box to display the hidden conversation. Then click on the 3-dot icon and select Unhide chat . Zalo then asks if you want to unhide the chat, click Yes to agree .

4. Change and delete the Zalo chat PIN

Click the gear icon and then select Settings> Messages> Privacy settings> Hide chat . Here if you want to change a new PIN , click Change PIN . Then enter the old PIN code and enter the new PIN code.

If you want to delete the PIN , click Delete PIN . Note , for messages that are to be hidden if deleted PIN, all messages that are hidden will be deleted.
