How to create a website shortcut on the Windows screen

When creating a website shortcut, users can quickly access the website right on the screen, without having to access it manually.

One way to quickly access certain web addresses on browsers is to create a web page shortcut on the Windows screen or Internet Shortcut. Previously, the Network Administrator had once instructed you to read how to add Web links to the Start menu on Windows 10, to quickly access websites from the Start menu.

However, if users want faster access to the website address without opening the Start menu, putting the website shortcut on the desktop interface is an appropriate choice. Creating bookmark bookmarks also helps you access website links. But if you only want quick access to certain websites without looking for bookmarks, just create an Internet Shortcut.

The following article will show you how to create a web shortcut in the traditional way and through Notepad.
