Google's video social network also entered the wave of 'Stories'.

Recently, Google announced that it is also preparing to launch features like the one used by Snapchat first, followed by many other social networks.

Called Reels, this feature allows users to pair a 30-second video with stickers, filters, background music, text and a number of other options. Unlike this feature on other social networks, YouTube's Reels will not expire after a period of time and is allowed to be used more than one at a time.

Google says this idea is intended to encourage users to post more often when they don't have time to fully video. Reels also allows you to embed links to watch videos with longer duration.

YouTube finally follows other friends

This is part of a campaign to build a YouTube community, like a social network. Previously, YouTube announced a Community tab for channels with at least 10,000 followers. Here, the channel owner can interact with fans with photos, votes, status lines and posts that are not videos.

A Google spokesperson said Reels will be on a separate tab of the channel. This feature is currently in beta phase.

YouTube is the last name among technology companies to offer their own version of Snapchat. Previously, Facebook, Instagram, Medium and some dating apps have also quickly pulled this feature back.
