After Gmail, Google Drive is replaced with a new 'shirt'

Google has replaced new clothes for Gmail last month and now it's Google Drive's new interface. Since Google Drive has been applied to Material Design's aesthetic standards before, these changes are not as strong as Gmail. It only helps Google Drive to be more compact, adding a new New button that looks extremely prominent.

The lighter, smoother Material Design design is gradually being included in their applications and services by Google. So, like it or not, users will have to get used to the new interface of Drive. New update of Drive is being released to users.

Here are the most noticeable changes of Drive revealed by Google on its G Suite blog.

1. The Google Driver logo is changed to the upper left corner.
2. The company's custom logo if added will appear in the upper right corner.
3. The Settings and Help Center icons are moved to a position aligned with the search bar.
4. The gray background of the page is replaced with white.
5. The "New" button is updated.
6. Update the font of the main items.
