Gmail started updating the new Google Material Theme interface on both iOS and Android

Google has introduced Google Material Theme, a new interface that is more suitable for users on technology devices, for Gmail on Android from July 2018. And now, this update has been officially deployed for both Android and iOS operating systems. Let's find out what the updated version of the new Google Material Theme interface has changed compared to the old interface in both design and new features.

Regarding the design, the new interface has a white background, the red app bar above has been removed.

The search bar is located at the top position, on the right is the user profile icon, on the left is the menu button. Access to user profiles, you can quickly change accounts and use some other features. Four-color FAB button to create new email is located in the lower right corner.

The bright interface makes other labels and colors in the mail list more prominent. In addition, the mailing list will also display photos, documents and attachments to help users get quick access.

In the Google Material Theme interface, the icons will have a darker border, easier to see layout and simpler operation.

With malicious emails displayed, Gmail will display large red alert banners.

The Google Material Theme interface does not have many major changes but helps to modernize the Gmail application.

Currently, both iOS and Android devices will be updated to this new version. Other technology devices will be updated in the future.
