How to check the original purchase date of the iPhone / iPad on Apple's website

Recently, Apple has officially allowed users to check the original purchase / activation date of the device so users can know the actual life of the product. This is extremely useful for people who buy old Apple devices.

Previously, users of Apple devices could only check the product warranty period via the website: https://checkcoverage.apple.com. Just enter the serial number, we can know the device information, warranty status (with / without warranty) and the warranty expiration date (if any) will appear.

But with the old and expired warranty, the information on the activation date or the end of warranty date will not be displayed. This makes it impossible for buyers of these devices to check their original purchase date to judge their life.

This has changed recently, Apple has officially allowed users to check the original purchase / activation date of the device.

How to check the original purchase / activation date of iPhone, iPad

Step 1: Log in to iCloud to the device you want to check.

Step 2: Open https://mysupport.apple.com and use your Apple ID account to login. The list of devices that are logged in to this account will appear, including your device.

Step 3: Click on the device you need to check the purchase date. The original purchase / activation date information of the device you want to know is displayed on "Date of Purchase".
