Windows 10 1803 is still the king of Microsoft castle
Statistics from AdDuplex in October show that April 2018 Update (or Windows 10 version 1803) is the most used Windows 10 OS today.
While Microsoft continues to fix critical errors on Windows 10 version 1809, statistics from AdDuplex in October show April 2018 Update (or Windows 10 version 1803) being the Windows 10 OS version used. The most current, not less than 88.3% of the machines are running this version.
Fall Creatos Update version only has 4.6%, while October Update is only 3rd with 2.3%. In addition, 1.8% is running Anniversary Update and only 0.2% are installing Build Preview versions of the latest update 19H1.
According to MSPU data, you are running Windows 10 at about 700 million devices, which means that about 16 million have been upgraded to October Update and because the data is only collected from the Microsoft Store application, so maybe more.
The density chart uses Windows 10 versions, according to AdDuplex data
HP is still the dominant computer brand running Windows 10, followed by Dell, Lenovo, Acer and Asus. Microsoft is also in this table with 2.98% but it is clearly far from the 26.83% of HP.
Like October 2018 Update, April also had serious errors before officially launching. Microsoft decided to postpone it until the error was fixed. Although there are still a few bugs after launching, it is still more than many Octobers now.
Microsoft has not yet officially said when the new version of Windows 10 will be released, but two serious errors in data loss have been fixed. Users can download the latest build Build 18272 to try it out.
