In addition to contacts, you can also transfer calendars, notes, photos, videos, music . from your old iPhone to your new Android phone easily.

Step 1: Set up a Google account for Android

The first thing you need to do is switch from the old iPhone to the new Android phone, which is setting up your Google account. From Android phone, go to Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync > Add Account > Google , declare the login name (Username) and password (Password) corresponding to your Google account. If you do not have a Google account, you can register for free here .

Step 2: Transfer contacts

Connect your iPhone to the computer and start iTunes. On the main interface of iTunes, click on the iPhone name, open the Info tab, pre-check the Sync Address Book Contacts and Sync contacts with Google Contacts option . Next, click the Configure button located right next to it, declare the Google account information that matches the account you have set up on your Android phone. Done, click Apply .

Step 3: Transfer schedules and notes

From iPhone, go to Settings > Mail , Contact , Calendars . If you don't see the Google account name corresponding to the account you have set up on your Android phone, click Add account > Gmail . Go back to the previous screen, select the newly declared Google account name, turn On mode for Calendars and Notes . Wait a few minutes, the entire calendar and notes on the iPhone will be transferred to Android.

Step 4: Transfer photos and videos

Connect your iPhone to your computer, go to My Computer , right-click your iPhone icon, select Explorer , drag and drop all photos and videos in iPhone to the temporary folder on the Desktop.

Next, connect your Android phone to your computer, find the folder containing the phone's photos and videos in My Computer, usually named DCIM , but if you don't have this folder, you can create a new folder yourself and Name it DCIM. Then copy all photos and videos on the Desktop to this folder.

Step 5: Transfer music

You also do the same as moving photos and videos, but copy all the music to the Music folder on your Android phone (instead of the DCIM folder), if not, you can create your own music folder and name it it.

Step 6: Transfer SMS and Voice Mail

Unfortunately, there is currently no really effective tool to transfer SMS and Voice Mail from iPhone to Android. Therefore, you still have to manually follow the content of SMS and Voice Mail: Open SMS or Voice Mail you want to switch to Android, select Edit > Forward , type in the Gmail address corresponding to the account declared above. Android, click Send .
