How much time do you spend on Facebook every day? Are you taking advantage or wasting time on Facebook? You want to get rid of it? In fact, many of us want to do this but very few people really do it because whether you want to admit it or not, your life is dependent on it. From remembering your friend's birthday to keeping in touch with your loved ones in the distance, there are many factors that make people continue to use this service. 'Farewell' Facebook is much more difficult than you think.
But after the incident last week, a company called Cambridge Analytica gathered information from over 50 million Facebook users to influence the 2016 presidential election, so it's time to protect you and relatives from Facebook. Even deleting your Facebook account does not get you off track of companies like this.

Give up Facebook, speak easier than do, but if you're determined and want to keep some memories, contact your relatives, here are some tips you should take before deleting your Facebook account.
Download data
Before preparing to enter the world without Facebook, you keep a copy of all the data created on this. To do this, on the desktop version of Facebook, visit the Settings tab, then click on the General option. At the bottom of the General Account Settings menu, you will see a hyperlink to download all Facebook data.
These data include basic things like status and all photos you have uploaded to your account. It also contains information you may never know Facebook has collected such as political parties, IP addresses and related searches. If this information keeps you awake, then it's time to leave Facebook.

Sort download data from Facebook
When downloading data, you will get a messy photo and video folder. Take the time to rearrange these data so that you can easily find photos from events. Save them on your computer or external hard drive and sort by events, dates and locations. This way, you can create your own version of the ' On This Day ' feature and can read it whenever you want.
Check your account using Facebook as login information
You can't remember the times when using the ' Log in with Facebook ' option to access accounts like Spotify or Amazon, other apps and services using Facebook as your login account.
However, you still have a way to check all these services and applications. Go back to the Settings page and click the Apps tab to see which services have access to the account. Click " Logged in with Facebook " to find what you need. Be sure to set up a new login for each application or service before 'saying goodbye' to Facebook.
Stay in touch with family and friends
In fact, we always have friends and relatives who only contact via Facebook. That's not embarrassing because everyone is like that, so before deleting your account, get the contact information of everyone you want. To keep in touch with them you need a little effort, such as calling a few times a week so they know you care about them.
Go back to the old days and use paper calendars and diaries
Do you admit, you only know your friends' birthdays when you see the birthday cake icon displayed on the Facebook message board every morning log in. And there are many friends who don't know their birthdays because they don't set up notifications. But there is a way to track birthdays of friends and relatives without Facebook.
Just go to the Birthdays tab under the Events page and record the birthday of the person you care about in the paper calendar. Then go to the Past tab in the Events menu and record any events you've ever visited before and want to return.
If you like sharing your daily activities with friends, write it down in your journal. You can still share your thoughts, speak up views without worrying about any malicious programs stealing information.
