Mozilla, the company that developed the Firefox browser, complained about the blog that Microsoft is planning to let Firefox work only on the Metro interface. As for classic mode, users only have the option of Internet Explorer. In addition to Firefox, other software like Google Chrome, Apple Safari or Opera are likely to fall into the same situation.
"Just giving a single browser permission to the operating system is action that prevents competition, innovation and leads to a dark technology era," said Harvey Anderson, Mozilla's law expert, to the website. Cnet.
