Instructions for deleting snapshot properties in Windows 10

Although not visible right on the image, but if you access their file properties, you will find information about cameras, lenses and even GPS information with latitude and longitude coordinates.

How to delete information in photos

To delete personal information or format from a photo in Windows 10, right-click on the image file and select Properties.

Go to the Details tab and you will see all the information about the image here.

At the bottom of the Details tab, click Remove Properties and Personal Information .

You have two options to remove these details:

The first way is to make a copy of the image with all the attributes that can be deleted. Make sure you have selected Create a copy with all possible properties removed . This is a useful method if you want to keep a copy containing the full information of the image.

The second way is that you will delete the properties right on the original image file. Click Remove the following properties from this file and check the box next to the details you want to delete. Finally, click OK.

If you want to delete all details from the original image file, just click Select all and click OK. If you want to delete or edit the properties of multiple photos at once, just select all images in Windows Explorer, right-click them and select Properties. Then do the same way above is done.

You can also add information to the image file attribute. For example, you can prove ownership of a photo by putting your name in the Author field . Besides, you can also manually enter information into each item you want to edit.
