Instructions for adding GSnap plugin to Audacity

Step 1:

You need to install Audacity on your computer according to the link below.

  1. Download Audacity software

Then download GSnap tool according to the link below with 32-bit version or 64-bit version depending on the computer version used.

Step 2:

Then extract the newly downloaded GSnap file and get the GSnap.dll file . Right-click and choose Copy file.

Then access the folder under the path C: Program Files (x86) AudacityPlug-Ins , then paste the GSnap copy file into this folder.

Step 3:

Open Audacity on your computer and click on Effects on the toolbar, then select Add / Remove Plug-ins . to add the plugin file.

Show new interface Manage Plug-ins . This will display all the plugin files in the Audacity directory. Go to GSnap and click the Enabled button below to activate it.

Step 4:

We can record it on Audacity shortly afterwards, or click File select Import and press Audio to open the existing audio file. Or you can click Open.

The audio file is then displayed immediately in the interface of the software. Press Ctrl + A to select the entire song you want to edit the sound.

Step 5:

To open the GSnap tool, click on the Effect section and drag the list down below to search for GSnap .

Below is the main interface of GSnap. There will be 3 different audio editing items: Detection, Correction and MIDI.

The options in the Detection section will help users to search for audio tweaks that match their songs. The Correction section determines the sound method and effect for the sound adjustment algorithm.

Finally MIDI determines how GSnap handles MIDI data (Musical Instrumental Digital Interface) specifically.

We can also change the scale and tone (the Key) at the Select a scale and key button above.

After editing, click Apply to apply the change. Finally press the Play button in the GSnap interface to hear the melody after editing.
