1. Format USB in Disk Management

2. Format USB in cmd

Step 1: You press Windows + R key combination to open the Run dialog box and enter the command cmd and press Enter.

Step 2 : Enter the following command on the cmd window:

format / q / x E:

With E: is the name of your USB drive. Then press Enter to continue.

Step 3: The process of USB formatting is completed and you press Enter again to exit.

3. Use the MiniTool Partition Wizard software

Step 2: Open the software and right click on the USB you need to format and select Format .

4. Format USB to another format

If all of the above methods still fail, try formatting the USB to another format. By default, the USB will be in FAT32 format, we change it to NTFS or exFAT format to format. You should uncheck the Quick Format check box to format the USB more carefully.
