How to create a website backup on Chrome

The WebSatchel utility will save any web page you want into the utility's memory, to access it whenever needed.

To review web content when needed in the browser, in addition to using browser bookmarks, we can save the entire website as PDF, or save the web page as an HTML file.

The WebSatchel utility will save a copy of the website in the utility's storage memory, let the user review or copy the site's file save if the site is currently unavailable. How to save web pages with WebSatchel

Step 1:

Utility works on 3 web browsers Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge. The following article explains how to do it on Chrome, other browsers do the same.

  1. Download the WebSatchel Chrome utility
  2. Download the WebSatchel Firefox utility
  3. Download the WebSatchel Microsoft Edge utility

Step 2:

To use the WebSatchel utility users need to create an account. Click the create an account button to register with the email address.

Enter all the required information then click Register below to register and agree to the terms of the site.

Step 3:

After you have created an account using WebSatchel, go to the website you want to create a copy of and then click on the utility icon in Chrome's address bar. Here the user will see there are 3 ways to save the website.

  1. Save Page: Create a copy of the website. Please enter keywords and enter key words . for the website to make it easier to sort and search later.
  2. Save Link: Save the link of the same web page with the bookmark function on the browser.
  3. Marker: Add a caption, a drawing on the website before proceeding to select the form of saving the website.

Step 4:

For example, choosing how to save via Save Page will enter the keyword and then click Save Page. When successfully saved you will receive a message like the one below.

With Save Link just enter the link in the bar and click Save Link to save it. With the Marker button will display a caption color drawing board. You write the content on the website and then click the utility icon again to choose how to save the site.

Step 5:

After saving the web pages, users click on My Satchel in the pop-up interface of the utility to access the saved site management page.

In the website management interface, users will see the title, image link, thumbnail, keyword, save time, etc. At each saved site, there will be different options including:

  1. Open Original Page: Open the original website of this saved page.
  2. Open Saved Page: Open a copy of the page, you can copy, save the file or access the original website.
  3. Delete: Delete the saved web page.
  4. Edit: Edit the entered keyword, or the website link.

In the case of only Open Original Page, the website is saved via Save Link.

Step 6:

To search the website saved on WebSatchel, we can search by date, keywords created for the link if available. In the leftmost part you select the search method and press the Search button to search.

Although the WebSatchel utility basically saves web pages that need to be used in the browser, users have more than other features. You can save in 2 different forms, add drawing content on the page if you want.
