Microsoft quietly confirms Windows 11

In a complaint filed with Google to remove a post on Indian tech website Beebom.com, Microsoft said Windows 11.

This week, something unfortunate happened to Microsoft, that is, the Windows 11 ISO was leaked to a public forum.

While some people think that the operating system is labeled Windows 11 as an unintended incident, others think this is some evil trick of Microsoft. In other words, the leak was intentional.

Microsoft Japan has filed a complaint under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to Google to remove an article posted on Indian tech website - Beebom.

'Beebom.com's article is distributing Windows 11 ISO (copyrighted by Microsoft). Please remove their posts from search. It is a leaked copy of an unreleased version of Windows 11' - Windows Central quoted Microsoft's complaint.

It's not clear if other sites directly distributing the leaked ISO received takedown notices, but it looks likely to be subject to complaints when discovered.

However, most importantly, Microsoft has rejected the idea that this ISO was intentionally leaked by the company or that the name of the new operating system is not Windows 11.

Of course, as we've already noted, the leaked ISO is a preview build of Windows 11 and not the final one that will ship at the end of October as a free update.

Microsoft's next-generation operating system features many revisions to the current Windows 10, largely based on a new user interface. Some of the changes include new Start Menu, new animations, improved touch experience, new icons, new system sounds, new OOBE, improved Ink WorkSpace, more Windows Snap and Widget Panel options.

Presumably, Microsoft should add to perfect the features, more UI changes, developer news, app monetization and any architectural changes on June 24th, to users get the full picture of Windows 11.
