The right to a refund depends on the current position in the payment cycle. According to Microsoft, you can request a refund if either of the two conditions is met:

1. You purchased an annual subscription for Office 365 within the last 30 days.
2. You have a monthly subscription and cancel within 30 days of the last renewal.

If you decide to request a refund, all Office applications will immediately be reduced in functionality.
