How to Customize Auto-Pickup Limits in PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile's automatic pickup limits control how much ammunition, healing, boosts, throwables, and other equipment the character collects. If auto-pickup stops at an amount that does not fit your loadout, open the pickup settings and set a different limit for that item or weapon category.

Menu names and default quantities can change between versions. The screenshots show an older PUBG Mobile VN interface, but the same principle applies: use the current Settings search or Pick Up section and review every category before a match.

Open the pickup settings

From the lobby, select the gear icon to open Settings. Look for Pick Up, Auto Pick-Up, or a similarly named tab.

Make sure automatic pickup is enabled. Some versions provide separate switches for ordinary items, pistols, scopes, event items, or replacing low-tier equipment.

Change ammunition limits

Scroll to the ammunition or weapon-category section. Increase or decrease the value beside an assault-rifle caliber to control how many compatible rounds auto-pickup tries to keep.

Review SMG ammunition separately if the menu divides pickup by weapon type or caliber.

Do not choose one large number for every weapon. A frequently fired assault rifle or SMG normally needs a larger reserve than a bolt-action sniper, while a DMR sits between them. Adjust for the weapons you actually use and the backpack level available.

Set healing and boost limits

Continue to the recovery section and choose practical limits for bandages, First Aid Kits, Med Kits, energy drinks, and painkillers.

The correct mix depends on match stage and squad role. Too many bandages can block a First Aid Kit or smoke grenade; too few healing items leave no margin after a long rotation. Keep some room for supplies shared by teammates.

Review throwables and scopes

Set separate limits for frag grenades, smoke grenades, Molotov cocktails, and stun grenades where supported. Smoke is especially valuable for revives and uncovered crossings.

For optics, decide which magnifications should be picked up and whether the game should replace an equipped scope automatically. Disable or lower a scope limit if the bag repeatedly collects duplicates you never use.

A useful starting approach

• Primary ammunition: enough for one or two engagements before looting again, not every round on the ground.
• Secondary ammunition: a smaller reserve when the second weapon fires slowly.
• Healing: a balanced mix of quick recovery and boosts rather than a single large stack.
• Smoke: reserve room for more than one when playing Duo or Squad.
• Attachments: keep only parts that fit the current or planned weapons.

Test the settings safely

1. Enter Training Mode or an unranked match.
2. Pick up the weapon types you normally use.
3. Walk over ammunition and confirm where automatic pickup stops.
4. Change weapons and check whether obsolete ammunition remains in the bag.
5. Test healing, throwables, and scope replacement.
6. Return to settings and adjust the categories that create clutter or shortages.

If auto-pickup still does not work

• Confirm the feature and the specific item category are enabled.
• Check whether the backpack is full.
• Verify that the ammunition matches an equipped weapon.
• Close the inventory and move over the item again.
• Restart the game after saving settings if the interface does not update.
• Reset only the pickup section when a recent update has corrupted or changed the profile.

Automatic pickup saves time, but it cannot understand every change in strategy. Review the bag after switching weapons or entering the final circles. Use efficient looting habits to decide when to stop collecting and move.
