These fake e-mails often inform users that they have accessed illegal websites and asked to open an attachment to answer some questions.
The FBI representative said the agency did not send e-mails with such content; and recommend users not to open e-mail from unknown sources.
The FBI is investigating the mastermind who used the organization to distribute malicious e-mail.Users can visit the Internet Crime Center website - http://www.ic3.gov to inform the above cases.
