Did Apple remove EarPods from the iPhone 12 carrying case?

The latest report from researcher Ming-chi Kuo suggests that Apple's upcoming iPhone 12 may not come with EarPods in the box.

According to PhoneArena , there is no information on whether to decide to apply to the entire iPhone 12 series or simply specific models, such as iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro. Whatever happens, Kuo believes this will help boost AirPods sales - which are sold separately.
Basically, if Apple no longer offers EarPods to customers, iPhone owners who want to listen to music with new headphones need to buy Lightning-wired headphones or wireless headsets like AirPods. The price for EarPods with Lightning port on Apple's website is $ 29, while the starting price for AirPods is $ 159.
It is known that Apple has equipped the EarPods earphones with iPhone since the first smartphone was launched in 2007. When the iPhone 7 was launched, the company removed the traditional 3.5mm audio port to switch to Lightning, but included with an EarPods headset with a Lightning cable in the box.
Kuo also said that there are no new AirPods or AirPods Pro models that Apple is expected to launch until next year, and it can carry out a strong promotional campaign or even a significant discount for AirPods this holiday season to promote sales.
Kuo believes Apple's sales will increase this holiday season after the company suffered a sharp decline in the first half of the year due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Kuo also expects Apple to ship 80-93 million AirPods this year.
