Application turns iPhone into iPod Classic interface

Elvin Hu, a design student at Cooper Union University (New York), a member of the iOS developer group recently shared on his Twitter page the new iOS app project with the interface variable. iPhone to iPod Classic.

Specifically, this application will turn your iPhone into an iPod Classic with a legendary control wheel on the screen. The control operations are similar to those on an iPod so it will surely satisfy fans of this great music player.

It also uses the Apple Cover Flow interface with 3D graphics that lets you drag and flip albums or playlists to select tracks. This interface can also work in landscape mode.

According to Elvin Hu's share, this app has been in development since October and could be completed in December. Elvin Hu has also been a fan of Apple products for a long time and his iPod was one of the products that inspired him to pursue design.

However, since the patents of the iPod belong to Apple and many other objective factors, whether or not this application is released depends on Apple.

Elvin Hu also added that if Apple does not allow the application to be put on AppStore, it will most likely be released as an "open source project".
