The first Core i7 laptop in Vietnam

This week, Dell will introduce in Vietnam the Studio XPS 1645 version and Studio 1557 - the duo both use Core i7 chips.

Both Studio XPS 1645 and Studio 1557 are equipped with 4-core CPU, Intel Core i7-720QM (4 x 1.60 GHz Turbo 2.80 GHz). The base speed of each core is 1.60 GHz, but when processing complex tasks, the system automatically speeds up to 2.8 GHz per core, thanks to Turbo Boost technology.

In addition, a big change from the previous Core 2 Duo generation, Core i7, integrated the on-chip control circuit, allowing Core i7 CPUs to reduce latency, helping to exchange data between RAM and CPU happens faster.

With advanced technology, the processing power of Core i7 is not only multiplied but also super-energy efficient. The combination of Core i7 with 4G B RAM DDR3 bandwidth up to 1,333 Mhz and 1GB GDDR3 high-end ATI Mobility Radeon graphics card (for Studio XPS 1645) or 512 MB GDDR2 (for Studio 1557) and Sound Creative card, 7 Watt subwoofer, these two models of Dell become super powerful entertainment machines.

Both XPS 1645 and 1557 have a 15.6-inch, 16: 9 standard screen, TrueLife technology uses a famous LED generation. Impressive screen with resolutions up to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (Full HD). DVD ± RW disk swallowing format and 500 GB HDD with comfortable capacity, ideal for organizing a huge data storage center. Both machines do not miss a modern communication lane, such as modern eSATA, HDMI, Intel Wi-Fi Link 5300AGN, Bluetooth .

The Dell Studio XPS 1645 is a blend of elegant Studio and XPS as an athlete. This machine is cared for every little detail, from the shell to the glossy black coat combined with leather material. The frame is made of solid aluminum and magnesium alloy. The keyboard is designed to fit each finger and glow in the dark with the light from the bottom of the keyboard, thanks to LED technology.

Dell Studio 1557 inherited the artist's line of artists. The device is also equipped with LED keyboard and is considered a "good wood, good paint" laptop.

Both products are licensed with Windows Vista Home Premium and are ready to upgrade to Windows 7 with full compatible drivers. Dell Studio 1557 is available in Vietnam for $ 1,499 , not including VAT. And Studio XPS 1645 will appear at the end of this week for 1,849 USD (not including VAT).
