After Apple announced iWork last month, many users complained that new applications in the toolkit lacked many key features and were no longer as powerful. Apple also seems to recognize that these responses are true, and the company has just promised to release an update for iWork in the near future to add missing features. The time that the company promised to update for iWork was " within 6 months ". Apple promises to add customization to the toolbar, better AppleScript support. Apple introduced new iWork for both OS X and iOS last month. The newly redesigned iWork takes advantage of the power of the new 64-bit chip they use on iPhone and iPad.
