Safari is the most popular browser on iOS. However, the Safari browser on iOS devices has hidden features that even longtime iOS users can hardly recognize.

1. Find the Page feature

The Safari browser has a Find the Page feature that allows users to perform a search on the currently viewed website by entering the words to search directly into the address bar.

After entering the phrase, click on the search options in the On This Page section located at the bottom of the list to perform a search in the currently viewed website. If you do not see this option, scroll down to the bottom as the virtual keyboard may be hiding them.

2. Return to the previous or next page

You can return to the previously viewed website or go to the next page by swiping to the left or right of the screen.

For example, to return to the previous page, place your finger on the left side of the screen and flick in the middle of the screen. If you want to go to the next page, you do the opposite.

3. Activate Reader Mode

The Safari browser provides a special reading mode, Reader Mode, which simplifies the website interface. Reader Mode will remove all unnecessary elements and only display text and images in the web page.

To view the website in Reader Mode , just click the icon like the one on the left side of the Safari browser address bar (3 black dashed line icon).

4. Save the Web page to read Offline

The Reading Lis feature built into Safari allows you to save a list of web pages to read later. This feature works like Pocket, Instapaper and other similar applications.

Like other applications, Reading List also downloads an offline copy of web pages so you can view it later without having to connect to the Internet.

To add any website to Reading List , simply click the Share button on the Safari toolbar (to the left of the address bar) and select Add to Reading List .

To access Reading List , click on the book icon on the toolbar and click on the glass icon.

To delete a website in Reading List , click and drag to the left and select Delete.

5. Use Bookmarklest as an extension

Safari in iOS does not support extensions (extensions), but Boolmarklest support is supported. Bookmarklets use JavaScript snippets to save as a list of your favorite bookmark sites.

When you open the bookmarklet from the bookmark list, JavaScript will be executed on the current web page. Bookmarklets can replace many browser extensions.

Assuming that when you are using Pocket, you normally cannot share sites from Safari directly to Pocket. When installing the Pocket bookmarklet, you can open the bookmark list and click the Save to Pocket option to add the currently viewed website to the Pocket list to read later. In addition, Bookmarklet is also used in other cases.

6. Delete personal data and change settings

The settings are not built into Safari. If you want to delete personal data or change default settings . you have to do it on the system - via the Settings application.

To access Safari settings, go back to the main screen, click the Settings icon and select Safari and change Safari browser settings there.

7. Synchronize browser data with iCloud

iCloud is integrated into Safari browser, allowing users to synchronize password storage, open tabs, . and other browser data on iCloud account.

This data will then be synchronized with Safari on other iOS devices and on Mac OSX.

To synchronize your Web browser data with iCloud, simply click the iCloud icon (cloud icon) on Safari's toolbar to see the tabs that are currently open on all your Apple devices.

Apple does not support Safari on Windows but they provide other solutions for Windows users. Installing the iCloud Control Panel application, you can synchronize Bookmarks with Mozilla Firefox, Chrome or Internet Explorer.

8. Activate private browsing mode

Safari provides a private browsing mode. When in private browsing mode, any of your browsing activities leave no trace, such as browsing history, cookies and other data .

To activate private mode, first open a new tab in Safari by pressing the + button on the toolbar and clicking the Private button at the bottom of the Favorites page.

Meanwhile, the toolbar and interface of Safari will change from white to black, help you identify browsing in private mode. To return to normal, simply open a new card and press the Private option again.
