Use Find My to remotely check iPhone or iPad battery
You can completely use Find My to remotely check the battery life on an iPhone or iPad that you are not carrying with you.
Since the introduction of the unified Find My application, Apple has been working to improve the experience of this tool to the next level with a more diverse, useful set of features. For example, you can completely use Find My to remotely check the battery life on an iPhone or iPad that you are not carrying with you. In particular, through Find My, you can also check if the device is connected to the charger - extremely useful in case you leave it at home.

Note: For this feature to work, the device must be signed in with your Apple ID account, and Find My must be turned on and connected to the internet using a cellular or Wi-Fi network.
To make sure Find My is up and running, simply navigate to Settings > Apple ID > Find My iPhone. Make sure that the respective feature is enabled and running. (Find My is usually enabled by default.)
Step 1. Launch the Find My app on your iPhone or iPad. If asked to sign in, use your Apple ID.
Step 2. Click the Devices tab.
Step 3. Select the iPhone or iPad that you want to check. The battery life is right under the name of the device.
As mentioned above, if the device is plugged in and charging, Find My will also give you information about that by showing a lightning bolt on the battery icon.
Overall, you can use this information in a variety of ways, and it's especially useful if you're away from home and use your iPad as a Home Hub for HomeKit setup.
Hopefully in the future, Apple will make things even more complete by adding to Find My the ability to accurately display the remaining battery percentage on the device in more detail.
