Update iOS 17.5 now to limit phone tracking

Apple has just released updates to iOS 17.5, macOS Sonoma 14.5 and iPadOS 17.5, helping users limit tracking across multiple platforms.

Sharing on the website, Apple said the company has cooperated with Google to develop the Tracking Detection feature, to help users limit being tracked on many platforms.

Specifically, the Tracking Detection feature will automatically display warnings when it detects strange tracking devices moving with the user. You can locate the tracking device by playing a sound and following the on-screen instructions to disable the device.

The new anti-tracking feature only works on iPhones running iOS 17.5 or later and Android devices running Android 6.0 or later. Supports AirTag and several other tracking devices made by Chipolo, eufy, Jio, Motorola and Pebblebee.
