Step 1: Make the air intake cage.

First, you measure the length and height of your laptop heatsink to calculate air intake cages.

According to that size, you cut the fomex cover into sheets that look like the picture.

Cut another sheet of similar size. After that, cut a middle square with the same size as the inlet fan.

Use the glue to fix the fomex cover sheets as shown in the picture to create an air intake cage.

After you get the air intake cage, stick the fan up so that the fan inlet fits well with the cut square.

Step 2: Connect the cable

Usually, there are 4 red, white, blue and black wires on the USB cord. You connect 2 red and black wires with 2 wires of the fan to get the power. Once connected, you use insulating tape to wrap 2 ends of the connected wire.

Note : You must connect the correct color to the fan to work.

Use glue to fix the heat meter to the upper part of the fan.
