Microsoft launched Windows 1.11, but not the operating system but a game
Microsoft has partnered with Stranger Things to make a game project called Windows 1.11 described as a companion to Stranger Things season 3.
The first version of the Windows operating system was released in 1985, the same year it debuted with the first season of a popular horror TV series on Netflix, Stranger Things. The interesting connection of Stranger Things and Microsoft did not stop there when Microsoft's official Twitter account recently "popped up" a special combination between the two companies made many people curious.

Last July 5, 2011, just one day after the next Season of Stranger Things was released, Microsoft's Twitter account posted a Morse code meaning to release on July 8.
