Some Windows 10 users are frustrated when Microsoft suddenly aborts their Windows installation, leading to a message asking to activate Windows. Microsoft has confirmed that this error is correct and said it is working on it.
This error affects users of Windows 10 Professional, upgrading from Windows 7 Professional or Windows 8 Professional. Microsoft activation server suddenly assumed that their digital copy was not stable and deactivated.
After running Troubleshooter, Windows 10 says it will use Windows 10 Home, not Windows 10 Professional. So many Windows 10 users report this issue on Reddit.
Update brings users to the status of Windows 10 Home edition
Affected users will see the Activate Windows notification in the lower right corner of the desktop, causing distractions when working or playing games . This usually happens when you have not activated Windows 10 but never happened with someone who has a legitimate Windows 10 license.
If you encounter this error, do not install Windows 10 Home as Windows 10 requires.ZDNet reports that this error has been fixed. If you encounter a similar situation, go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation > T r oubleshoot. Troublershooter will link to Microsoft's activation server and restore your activation status.
So Windows 10 has an error, after many problems such as deleting user data, loss of compressed file data . although we have expected this update to be more stable.
